Quality Assurance Specialist

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of quality assurance principles, and experience working with combined web and mobile software projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Create and execute test plans for existing products and features.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define testing protocols for new features.
  • Provide detailed bug reports using JIRA.
  • Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, with at least 2+ years in testing web applications.
  • Combination of solid knowledge of quality assurance principles, web/mobile technologies, and automation tools.
  • Passion for all things web, including usability and accessibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with consumer networking hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points.
  • Familiarity or experience with mobile automation (using Java, JavaScript, or Python).
  • Experience testing cloud APIs.
