We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer Manager to join our team at Jabil Malaysia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of test procedures, tester hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, and coach Test Engineers I & II to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Test Engineers I & II.
- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives for individual and team performance, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Manage the engineering test function for standard and/or custom devices, and identify and evaluate test procedures and test equipment required to perform quality checks.
- Compile and document data necessary to analyze performance and make recommendations for changes in the testing process.
- Assist in the development of special test equipment and software test programs as required for the successful completion of projects.
- Provide training and assistance to Test Engineers I & II, and act as a liaison and technical conduit for assigned customers.
- Explore new avenues and test technologies for quality improvements on products assigned, and perform detailed analysis on test quality of products assigned.
- Monitor NPI activities and ensure compliance with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, and five to ten years of experience in a similar role. You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
