Job Description:

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient management of Government property in Iraq. This role serves the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract for the U.S. Department of State.

This position requires strong leadership skills to maintain a safe workplace, prioritize safety, and ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.

Key responsibilities include providing necessary information and materials to relevant divisions for adequate documentation, conducting random compliance audits on all sites in Iraq, developing and executing corrective action plans for audit deficiencies and inventory accountable property, mentoring lower-level Property Staff and custodians, identifying problem areas, recommending viable solutions, performing physical inventories of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP), ensuring Government Property Identification numbers are properly assigned, and preparing required schedules.

Additionally, this role involves working closely with Property Custodians to ensure overall accountability of assets, tracking and recording movement of all types of Government property, conducting country-wide Property Training on a yearly basis, establishing training plans for new hires and refresher training, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Statement of Work (SOW), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and developing processes and desktop procedures to maintain continuity of job performance.
