Plant Finance Specialist

The Plant Finance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting transactions under Manufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Centers.

• Analyze the Actual Total Manufacturing cost (TMC), Fixed manufacturing expenses (FME), and Plant, Warehouse and Distribution Centers Operating Expenses (OPEX).
• E nsure that accounting transactions recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), local and statutory requirements and company's policies.
• Timely and accurate preparation with explanation on various reporting requirements of Plant Finance not limited to Management Performance Reports (MPR), TMC, OPEX/FME, Savings, Volume Price Mix.
• E nsure the accuracy of the annual budget of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and FME of the Plant from submission to uploading in SAP.
• E nsure all government taxes are paid on time; statutory requirements of the Plants, Warehouse and Distribution are updated and 100% compliant with Local Government Units and National Government if necessary;
• Manage Production Controllers to support various Plant Finance activities.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

1. Supervise Production Controllers to Support Plant Finance Activities Closing, Manage RMPM usages, on-time and accurate Technically Complete (TECO) Process Orders.
2. Monitor status of Process Orders daily and towards month-end closing.
3. To adhere to Process Order Management Policy.
4. E nsure that posting date of transactions (SAP Movement type 101, 102, 261, 262, 311, 312) are recorded on the same closing period.
5. E nsure that manual adjustments (Journal Voucher) are eliminated or minimized.
6. Track, report and analyze reasons for non-compliance of Plant Controllers on daily control of process orders.
7. Track and monitor Inventory Count at Production floor and Logistics.
8. Create journal entries for Direct Labor, Variable Overhead (DLVOH) accruals and adjustments.
9. Monitor and validate automated TMC/Lean manufacturing Roger's dashboard with generated manual and SAP reports.
10. Evaluate and maintain the accuracy of financial entries and cost centers reflected under Manufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Centers.
11. Accurate and on-time Plant Closing Activities should be completed on Work Day 1.
12. Provide timely analysis on Manufacturing Cost, Variance, Savings, FME Results to the Plant Leadership team.
13. E nsure timely submission and accuracy on various reporting requirements needed by the Plant Finance Manager (PFM), Finance Director and other Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) stakeholders.
14. Work with PFMs to ensure the accuracy of Annual Standard Costs for Raw Material Packaging Material (RMPM), DL, VOH, FME Budget submitted to management and uploaded in SAP.
15. Support PFMs in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Accounting System e.g. SAP ECC or S4 Hana, and other Reporting Dashboard relevant to the Manufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Centers.
16. Proactively support PFMs in attaining KPIs, OKRs.
17. Support PFM and be present in Plant ManCom Meeting such as but not limited to Daily Stand Up (DSU) meetings.
18. Provide training and evaluate performance and provide timely improvement feedback of Production Controllers.
19. Actively participate in cost control procedures, spare parts control, inventory cycle of the Manufacturing Plants, Warehouse and Distribution Centers.
20. Represent finance in RMPM FG SPS Inventory cycle.
