The role of Data Architect is critical in improving the reliability of our data systems and enhancing workflows. This position involves mentoring new team members, guiding their growth, and collaborating with various teams to ensure our data infrastructure supports everyone.

This role will elevate our data capabilities and foster innovative thinking within the team. It requires an expert who can lead the team through updates and changes, skilled with our technology tools and programming languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mastery of SQL and Python (or PySpark) for data manipulation, ingestion, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Experience with Databricks environment, Azure Portal, DevOps, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality principles, and data governance practices, including logging, cataloging, and lineage tracking.
  • Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication of complex data concepts to diverse audiences - at High Intermediate level.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Experience in data products and satellite system integration
  • Experience with predictive modeling, especially sales-related models
  • Experience in leading data teams
