Cluster Overlay Manager

The FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 is a major sporting event in Brazil, requiring close collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver temporary infrastructure across assigned venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Venue Design team and stakeholders to define and validate overlay solutions, ensuring technical requirements are accurately reflected in designs and BoQs.
  • Implement change management processes and maintain project control for venues under your responsibility. Organize and coordinate the flow of technical information across all venues in the cluster.
  • Maintain clear communication with stadium authorities to ensure alignment on timelines, monitor construction schedules, planned renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Work closely with overlay delivery partners from planning through construction and removal, monitoring the execution of the project scope to ensure all requirements are met and that spaces are handed over on time and to the expected quality throughout all project phases.
  • Provide regular updates on overlay progress at assigned venues, track project milestones and deliverables, and support timely resolution of issues or delays.
Requirements:
  • Degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years or more in infrastructural projects or Overlay/Technical Service roles in Major Events for a Sporting Organization.
  • Strong technical knowledge in temporary infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Autodesk applications (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project).
  • Right to work in Brazil.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Portuguese (spoken and written).
  • Ability to relocate to Rio de Janeiro and travel as needed.
