Your Responsibilities

The Frontend Infrastructure & Experience team at Braze has two critical missions. Our infrastructure mission focuses on simplifying the process for engineers to create high-quality, user-friendly client interfaces that align with Braze's brand identity. This includes developing our design system, component library, frontend testing infrastructure, and code generation tools. In parallel, our experience mission aims to enhance customer-facing features such as data tables, search functionalities, and navigation within our product.

As a Senior Engineer on this team, you will be tasked with creating impactful features, tools, and components.

Some of the projects you may work on include:

  • Utilizing TypeScript to develop a type-safe system for interpolating internationalized strings
  • Creating a search functionality that enables users to swiftly locate their marketing campaigns, audiences, templates, and more
  • Designing a maintainable date picker component that ensures accessibility and localization
  • Establishing a comprehensive end-to-end testing framework using Cypress
  • Facilitating consensus on a superior method for managing global frontend state through documentation and proof-of-concept
  • Developing tools to scaffold frontend endpoints with type safety, validators, and tests

Technologies You Will Work With

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record
  • Proficient in modern frontend languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React, ES6, Vue, Angular, etc.)
  • Experience in backend development
  • User-centric mindset with a strong focus on UX
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
  • Able to navigate a large frontend codebase with multiple stakeholders
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in building design systems and component libraries
  • Familiarity with localization and accessibility standards
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
  • Experience with automated code transformation tools (codemods)
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
