Software Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our OpenStack Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new features in Charmed OpenStack and Ceph.

  • Collaborate with distributed teams to develop high-quality code.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them.
  • Review code produced by other engineers.
  • Discuss ideas and collaborate on finding good solutions.

This role requires a strong passion for automating infrastructure as code, working with Python, and contributing to open-source projects. If you have experience with Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or related technologies, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features in Charmed OpenStack and Ceph.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
