Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the construction of optimization models to solve business problems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, create, test and implement complex models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization
  2. Conduct advanced statistical and other analysis to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance
  3. Collaborate with translators and understand business problems to implement scalable and sustainable solutions
  4. Coordinate with MIS, Digital Specialists, and Data Engineers to deliver holistic analytical solutions
  5. Support translators in communicating the design, functioning and output of the analytical models/solutions developed
  6. Ensure timely analysis and testing for regular maintenance of solutions over time
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Post graduate degree in STEM field or Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years' experience as Data Scientist II
  • Proficient in programming language like Python or R
  • Strong foundations in math, analytics and computer science, knowledge of machine learning methods, statistical models, advanced data science programming
  • Deep understanding of Database designs. Prior course work is a plus
  • Creative & innovative thinking; demonstrating drive to solve problems
  • Act as a great team player and pitch new ideas, take responsibility to improve code quality and impact
  • Has optimization background or at least 3 years of experience with optimization modeling
  • Has at least 1 year of experience in coordinating technical teams
  • Proficient in data science, optimization, machine learning, Python, R, SQL, data analysis, analytical skills, teamwork, and communication skills
