Job Title: Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team and contribute to delivering innovative solutions in the energy industry.

This role involves maintaining, testing, and repairing equipment, completing documentation on maintenance and failure analysis, and following formal procedures and maintenance practices.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in a related field, regular situational awareness with the CFT or CREA, and desirable experience in field operations and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment according to established procedures
  • Complete documentation on maintenance and failure analysis
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists
  • Conduct business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in a related field
  • Regular situational awareness with the CFT or CREA
  • Desirable experience in field operations and equipment maintenance
  • Desirable knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines
  • Interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues and customers across all businesses and cultures
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
  • Fluent Portuguese language skills and desired English language skills
