Nursing Care Specialist

Deliver patient-centered care and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

As a skilled nursing professional, you will be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a collaborative environment.

You will work with patients who require unique treatment plans and have the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
  • Provide care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring tailored treatment plans and advanced nursing skills.
  • Oversee patient observations, vital sign monitoring, and equipment setup with the support of healthcare assistants.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, using your clinical expertise and interpersonal skills daily.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited institution is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is highly valued.
