Seadrill Limited is seeking a highly skilled Dynamic Positioning Operations Specialist to join their team in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $90,000 and $120,000, depending on experience.
About the Role:This challenging position involves working as part of an offshore drilling operation, ensuring safe and efficient execution of marine operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with Seadrill's Code of Conduct and all applicable governing requirements;
- Managing daily planning for upcoming operations, including stability and ballast operations;
- Maintaining valid and up-to-date marine certification; and
- Supervising direct reports to ensure adherence to governing documents and operational guidelines.
In addition to these core duties, the successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining bridge equipment, preparing equipment for future operations, and participating in meeting activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
- Valid marine certification and ability to obtain required licenses;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced offshore environment;
