Project Manager Job Description

This is a challenging project management position where you will be responsible for managing large complex customer-facing projects, overseeing project delivery, and acting as the primary liaison between engineering teams and customers.

Your main responsibilities will include managing projects through their complete life cycle, ensuring project goals are met, delivering engineering professional services, and working with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images.

You will also be drafting and maintaining project schedules, obtaining client agreement, ensuring projects are delivered within time/resources/scope expectations, and driving technical issues to reach desired delivery outcomes.

Requirements
  • Solid project management experience
  • Extensive experience managing cross-cultural and multi-continent project resources
  • Good knowledge of Linux and the wider Open Source Software community

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a strong leader and problem solver, and have the ability to work non-standard work hours in support of a worldwide sales and project team.
