Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Mining Engineer to partner with customers in delivering projects and creating value over the life of their assets.

This role involves leveraging expertise in economic evaluations, open-pit optimization, mine design, and long-term planning to drive business growth and sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating CAPEX and OPEX for open-pit operations
  • Conducting economic evaluations at conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility levels
  • Developing pit optimization, mine design, and strategic mine plans
  • Sizing, selecting, and cost modeling equipment fleets
  • Supporting business development and investment activities, including M&A technical input
  • Providing advisory services for project audits, technical reviews, and due diligence
  • Proficiency in mining software: Whittle, Surpac, MineSched, MineSight
  • Preparing NI 43-101 and JORC Code technical reports

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining industry
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, with extensive experience in international and multicultural environments
