Workday Technology Operations Analyst Job Description

">Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Technology Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS and experience working with Workday systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner closely with Global Design, and Local/Regional HR Services for all Workday questions (functionality, business processes, integrations and mass uploads) and issues.
  2. Investigate, analyze & resolve data and business process flow errors.
  3. Determine scope of system issues & change requests (global, regional, local). Provide status updates to HR Services.
  4. Advise HR Services on completing the service request form to capture user requirements.
  5. Partner with IT & HR Services on refining requirements.
  6. Solicit input from all countries on global change requests through the J&J community collaboration tool.
  7. Coordinate user testing and provide mentorship on test scenarios and regression testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience 2 to 3 years of HRIS or equivalent work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday is required.
  • Previous experience supporting users of a Human Capital Management (HCM) system is required, combining HR processes and system analysis expertise.
  • Broad knowledge of HR functional (Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of Time Off plans, Accruals, Leaves and Calculation Engine operations including Absence process requirements.
