Job Description:

The successful candidate will assume a key leadership position within our mechanical team, overseeing the technical direction and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with safety standards and compliance codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, promoting effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • To oversee the training and scheduling of workers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • To assist in creating new technical procedures, aligning them with company policies and objectives.
  • To motivate and inspire the team, providing regular feedback and guidance to facilitate growth professionally and personally.
  • To make informed decisions regarding hiring and termination, ensuring the team's composition reflects company needs and objectives.
  • To manage payroll and overtime, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • To maintain spare parts inventory for emergency repairs, procuring supplies based on priority and cost-effectiveness.
  • To provide technical guidance and advice to the mechanics team, enhancing their knowledge and expertise.
  • To collaborate with other sectors to create and review technical procedures.
  • To monitor machinery and equipment operation, diagnosing malfunctions and proposing improvements.
  • To identify opportunities for process enhancements and suggest corrective and preventive maintenance actions.
Requirements:
  • Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to analyze problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards and procedures.
