Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Incident Responder to join our team at Verisure. As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be responsible for containing and mitigating cyber security incidents, working closely with regional IT Operations and teammates to resolve incidents in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Response: Plan, manage, coordinate, and communicate to contain and mitigate cyber security incidents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional IT Operations and teammates to resolve cyber security and privacy incidents.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Have extensive experience in responding to cyber operations, including monitoring, incident response and handling, threat detection, and threat intelligence.
  • SIEM Experience: Have experience with SIEM systems.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation of team activities, including containment and recovery tasks, and develop a reliable timeline for each stage of the incident.
  • Communication: Communicate the status of an incident with clarity and focus, and maintain a high degree of 'best practice' and professional attention to detail within the SOC Operations team.
Requirements
  • Education: Applicable degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, formal report writing, ability to do independent research, security awareness, and international work experience.
  • Certifications: Incident Handler certification (GCIH, ECIH, CySA+, CREST, CISSP) and ITIL certification are desirable.
