About This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and integrating advanced embedded software solutions for radio frequency (RF) applications.
This is a senior-level position that demands deep technical expertise in modern C++ and object-oriented programming, with a focus on real-time, multi-threaded systems operating within Linux environments.
The engineer will play a pivotal role in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, particularly hardware engineers, to deliver robust, high-performance RF systems that meet rigorous industry standards across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, and consumer electronics.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Architecting, designing, and implementing embedded software solutions for RF applications.
- Integrating complex software with RF hardware components.
- Developing and optimizing multi-threaded, real-time software systems.
- Applying advanced object-oriented programming principles.
- Implementing domain-specific algorithms for RF digital signal processing.
- Designing and developing comprehensive test suites and automated test interfaces.
- Debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems at software and hardware integration levels.
- Contribution to the development and maintenance of software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Writing and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
- Leadership and participation in code reviews.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
Expert-level proficiency in C++. Extensive experience developing, debugging, and optimizing multi-threaded, real-time embedded software on Linux platforms. Proven track record of integrating embedded software with RF hardware.
