**Job Title:** Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the period-end close process, including ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all CAPEX accounting entries and reconciliations. They will also be responsible for managing key fixed assets life cycle events and performing analytical review of Capex/depreciation related balances.

In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will drive projects, provide accounting guidance, and serve as a first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues. They will also ensure effective collaboration and influence across multiple organizations with partner teams and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
  • Thorough knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of Brazilian and U.S. GAAP (including the FASB Codification)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Operational accounting experience with international companies
