Senior Financial Analyst Role

This is a senior financial analyst role responsible for daily financial control and analysis, as well as accounting activities of Global IS/IT and Financial Shared Services' costs.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a business analyst and finance expert for the organization, providing expertise in financial planning and management.
  2. Oversee month-end closing sub-processes and monthly financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Perform routine and ad-hoc accounting and analysis according to requests from Shared Services Controller or discussed work allocation.
  4. Contribute to developing and executing cost reduction programs for Shared Services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  5. Serve as the day-to-day interface with Financial Shared Services functions regarding accounting on SSC Entities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  6. Support communication to SSC Management and Customers, providing regular updates and insights.
  7. Follow established financial processes and procedures, monitoring compliance and adhering to internal controls.
  8. Ensure the accuracy of financial data in ledgers and internal/external reports, maintaining financial control through timely reconciliation and GRNI processing.
  9. Monitor changes in Fiscal Accounting and Tax rules, proposing changes to account practice as needed to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  10. Control that accounting and other reported figures reflect the financial reality, conducting thorough reviews and analyses.
  11. Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, contributing to the preparation of analyzing and summarizing changes, as well as preparing sufficient explanations of trends and changes.
  12. Contribute expertise in projects, leveraging skills and knowledge to drive successful outcomes.
  13. Proactively contribute to the development of the controlling team and Shared Services in general, fostering growth and improvement.
  14. Provide accounting support for Shared Services functions, ensuring seamless operation and efficient service delivery.
  15. Comply with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies, and standardized operating procedures, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
