Cloud Data Architect Role

Our company seeks a skilled Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data systems in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing robust, scalable architectures for data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores in cloud environments. They will also be responsible for developing and optimizing real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Pentaho, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting.

The successful candidate will ensure data quality and governance across the entire pipeline lifecycle, including validation, auditing, and reconciliation. They will also collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical data architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve robust, scalable architectures for data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and operational data stores in cloud environments.
  • Develop and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Pentaho, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting.
  • Ensure data quality and governance across the entire pipeline lifecycle, including validation, auditing, and reconciliation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in data architecture or senior-level data engineering roles, with strong experience in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on technical skill in PL/SQL, Bash scripting, parallel data processing, AI/ML modeling, and performance optimization in a cloud environment.
  • Cloud-native thinking with experience designing scalable systems and cloud-first data platforms.
