We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnerships Director to lead our growth strategy in the LATAM region.
- This role will be at the forefront of driving business expansion through strategic partnerships with key players in the market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of defining and driving growth strategies, structuring negotiations for partnership renewals, and leading high-performing teams. Additionally, they will cultivate trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, secure internal support for deals across cross-functional teams, and have experience working internationally and across cultures.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy for the LATAM region, leveraging existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities.
- Negotiating and closing partnerships with key industry players, including TIM, Globoplay, Tigo, Mercado Libre, and Itau.
- Leading a team of Strategic Partner Managers, providing day-to-day management, engagement, and growth fostering.
- Cultivating strong relationships with executive stakeholders within partner organizations to maximize potential, uncover new opportunities, and secure long-term relationships.
- Managing P&L responsibility for the region's Partnerships revenue, including forecasting and budget attainment.
- Securing internal support and approvals for deals across cross-functional teams by developing business cases, articulating market opportunity, and clarifying resource requirements.
- 10+ years of work experience in Strategic Partner Management or Account Management with partners.
- Strong negotiation skills and track record.
- Existing network with industry executives.
- Pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
- Experience working internationally and across cultures.
- Fluent English (main working language) as well as Spanish and/or Portuguese required, other languages a plus.
