Position Overview

The Brazil Consulting Practice within Visa (VCA – Visa Consulting and Analytics) offers expert consulting and solution services tailored for Visa's major issuers, merchants, and acquirers in Brazil.

The VCA team delivers a wide array of consulting services aimed at resolving distinct challenges in key areas such as enhancing profitability, fostering strategic growth, elevating customer experience, and improving operational efficiency.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to enhance our consulting practice in Brazil. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery and execution of projects and solutions for Brazil's Financial Institutions and Issuing Banks. This individual will spearhead initiatives designed to encourage sustainable and profitable growth, ensuring that Visa remains the preferred brand and a distinctive business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection and analysis of data, aiding in the development and validation of hypotheses to tackle client business challenges.
  • Generate insights, analyses, and recommendations to enhance client performance, stimulate growth, and provide strategic direction for client priorities across various sectors.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues in different functional areas (marketing, sales, risk, innovation) to implement projects and deliver value to clients.
  • Cultivate a sustainable relationship with Clients (Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks) through an ethical and empathetic approach, aiming to provide optimal support.
  • Contribute to scaling the function by designing frameworks, methodologies, processes, and necessary operational enablers to promote business growth and efficiency for our partners.
  • Willingness to travel across the covered markets as required and the capability to work across various functions and markets.

This is a hybrid role. Employees in hybrid positions are expected to work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, with a general expectation of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or product management.
  • Strong analytical skills with logical and structured thinking.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Experience in coaching and managing multiple consulting projects that involve structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with business KPIs, financial metrics, and organizational leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Experience in the banking or credit card sector is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
