Job Title: Lead Engineer

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the execution of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control system concepts for new technology applications as part of new product introductions.
  • Define engine, electric drivetrain, and vehicle control feature/diagnostics requirements and documentation.
  • Prototype new control applications concepts/enhancements through modeling and simulation.
  • Support feature calibration and validation efforts in the engine test cell, integrated hardware simulator testing, locomotive system testing, customer acceptance and field in-service monitoring.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Professional project experience in engine/powertrain systems, electrical systems/controls modeling, and/or control systems engineering.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with engineering tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated technical project or program execution capability.
