Senior Human Factors Design Specialist

We're seeking a seasoned expert to lead the design of our flight decks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and user experience. This role involves collaborating with pilots, designers, and engineers to create interfaces that complement the cognitive, physical, sensory, and ergonomic capabilities of our pilots.
The successful candidate will have a passion for aviation and a deep understanding of human factors in a safety-critical industry. They will be responsible for designing, testing, and certifying the look, feel, and operational behavior of the flight deck, from conception through entry into service.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing, testing, and certifying the flight deck interface
- Collaborating with pilots, designers, and engineers to ensure seamless integration
- User evaluations and testing in state-of-the-art full-flight simulators and flight test airplanes
- Developing and executing human factors studies to support product development and evolution
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in human factors, UX/UI design, systems engineering, industrial engineering, aeronautical engineering, or psychology
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- In-depth experience with human factors in the aerospace/flight operation industry
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Pilot certification or experience is highly desirable.
