We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

  • Gather and document business requirements from scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders.\
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of current business processes.\
  • Develop and maintain detailed system designs based on stakeholder input.\
  • Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and present clear recommendations.\
  • Prepare comprehensive business requirement documents and convert them into precise functional specifications.\
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide ongoing assistance to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs.\
  • Develop visualized workflows to effectively communicate and clarify requirements.\
  • Collect and author software requirements and test specifications in collaboration with technical teams.\
  • Prepare thorough system and user documentation to support training and adoption.\
  • Maintain continuous involvement in software projects from initiation through deployment and adoption.\
  • Possess experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or similar platforms, particularly those supporting lab-to-production workflows.\
  • Utilize JIRA to track and prioritize tasks and deliverables.\
  • Have excellent English communication skills around technical and non-technical topics.\
  • Have experience working with scientific data systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), etc.\
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Life Science, Chemistry, or equivalent.\
  • Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Smartsheet.\
  • Be highly organized, independently driven, results-oriented, and a quick learner.\
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of ownership and see assignments through to completion based on agreed-upon deadlines.\
  • Work effectively in a fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.\
  • Experience working with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire is a plus.\
  • Experience working in a GxP environment and with validated computer systems is a plus.\
  • Broad understanding of hardware and software systems, including their installation, maintenance, and lifecycles is a plus.\
  • Familiarity with ISO:9001 compliance in a production environment is a plus.\
