Senior Educational Leader

The role of the Senior Educational Leader is to oversee the administration, vision, and daily operations of a school. Key responsibilities include providing leadership and direction, developing policies and procedures, overseeing administrative functions, defining educational vision and mission, and fostering a positive school culture.

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the school
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure smooth operation
  • Oversee administrative functions, including resource allocation and staff supervision
  • Define and communicate educational vision and mission of the school
  • Develop strategic plans and goals for academic and extracurricular programs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement curriculum improvements and innovations
  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and academic success
  • Oversee student discipline and behavior management
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, and local community
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through meetings and events
  • Act as spokesperson for the school and represent its interests to external organizations
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and review curriculum content
  • Implement assessment strategies to measure student progress and achievement
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations
  • Establish and enforce safety and security protocols for the school
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure well-being of students and staff
  • Cultivate relationships with educational institutions and community organizations
  • Handle crises or unexpected situations in a calm and effective manner

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in curricular development and school management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of curriculum and instruction
  • Command of IB, AP, and/or traditional American curriculum
  • Experience abroad within a premium, innovative and modern-approach school
