Job Summary

Nordex Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grid Code Compliance Specialist to join our Windfarm Control Operations department within Global Project Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests and analyze test data to ensure responsible engineering practices.
  • Support Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phases, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Nordex products and their capabilities to assess Grid Code compliance.
  • Optimize processes within Grid Code compliance and review internal product specifications for compliance.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with clients' experts to develop project-specific testing and solutions.
  • Gain experience in windfarm controller projects and contribute to the development of expertise within the company.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent technical education.
  • Experience in Grid Code Testing with Wind Farm projects and test cases in Grid Code Testing Procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details to achieve compliance.
  • Experience with data analysis, tools, and automation is valuable.
  • Intercultural understanding and ability to work collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, proactive, assertive, and a team player.
  • Certificate to act as electrically skilled person (German: Elektrofachkraft) is helpful.
  • Will to go on business trips (5-10%).
