Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics educator to join our Secondary section. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching IB-aligned lessons in the MYP section and possibly also in the DP.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in collaborative planning, preparation, and organisation of teaching and learning based on the IB MYP and DP Programmes.
  • Plan and deliver IB-aligned lessons in the MYP section and possibly also in the DP.
  • Support the IB DP Core components, including CAS, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge.
  • Apply the best pedagogical practice, based on a detailed knowledge of a range of appropriate teaching and learning strategies curated for the MYP/DP classroom.
  • Be enthusiastic about professional development and show a commitment to developing your practice and that of your colleagues.
  • Actively support all learners based on their individual needs and liaise with relevant professionals where necessary.
  • Be part of the Pastoral team in Secondary School and engage with the holistic nature of learning in the school.
  • Liaise with Heads of Faculty, the MYP Coordinator, the DP Coordinator, the Head of Secondary, and the Personalised Learning team.
Required Skills and Attributes
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • A relevant degree in the subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative skills.
  • A commitment to inquiry-based learning and alignment with the school's vision and mission.
Key Qualifications
  • IB MYP and DP certification.
  • Teaching experience in an international school setting.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse learning environments.
