Teaching Assistant Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content, and managing students in school environments.
  • Assist in distributing and collecting materials.
  • Implement didactic-pedagogical projects by the school.
  • Keep classrooms organized with materials requested by the Head Teacher.
  • Decorate walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school.
  • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs.
  • Evaluate safety, constantly staying with students, observing, guiding, and intervening when necessary to prevent accidents.
  • Receive students at the entrance and exit of the school, ensuring safety standards.
  • Accompany students during meal times, ensuring everyone eats well.
  • Manage classes in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the Head Teacher.
  • Record student activities through videos and photos and send them to the Head Teacher within established deadlines.
  • Participate in Academic Meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops to improve professional competence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy or related field.
  • Desirable 2 years of classroom experience.
  • Experience with Early Childhood Education.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Early Childhood education (specific for Early Childhood Education).
  • IB Methodology.
