Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mathematics educator to join our school's secondary section.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the MYP and DP programs, with a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IB-aligned lesson plans for the MYP section, as well as possibly the DP.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and prepare teaching and learning activities based on the IB MYP and DP Programmes.
- Support the development of CAS, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge components within the IB DP.
- Apply best pedagogical practice in a range of teaching and learning strategies for the MYP/DP classroom.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the school's vision and mission.
- Provide individualized support to learners based on their needs and work collaboratively with other professionals.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- A degree in Mathematics and an internationally recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- A commitment to inquiry-based learning and alignment with the school's vision and mission.
