Mathematics Educator Position

We are seeking a highly qualified mathematics educator to join our Secondary section. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching mathematics in an international school context, with experience in the MYP and/or DP programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, prepare, and organise teaching and learning based on the IB MYP and DP Programmes, catering to individual students' needs.
  • Design and deliver IB-aligned lessons in the MYP section and possibly also in the DP, supporting the IB DP Core components, including CAS, the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge.
  • Apply best pedagogical practice, drawing from detailed knowledge of a range of appropriate teaching and learning strategies tailored for the MYP/DP classroom.
  • Be enthusiastic about ongoing professional development, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing your practice and that of your colleagues.
  • Support all learners based on their individual needs, liaising with relevant professionals where necessary.
  • Contribute to the Pastoral team in Secondary School, engaging with the holistic nature of learning in the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
  • A relevant degree in the subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification are essential.
  • Experience teaching the MYP and/or DP in an international school context is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills are essential.
  • A commitment to inquiry-based learning and alignment with the school's vision and mission is essential.
