Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned expert in backend development to drive the creation of scalable architectures, focusing on process automation and delivering customized reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical authority for an international team in building robust APIs and integrations across various systems to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting best practices in backend development and database management.
  • Engage in client-facing activities, and participate in meetings with internal and external clients.
  • Drive the creation of detailed reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee data manipulation and transformation according to client preferences.
  • Ensure the tracking of tasks and documentation of deliverables.
  • Identify and implement business and process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor business metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a senior in backend development and database management.
  • Expertise in version control (GIT) and proficiency in Clean Code and development best practices.
  • Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB, understanding common use cases and performance pitfalls, and dashboards using Metabase.
  • Proficient in working with AWS cloud services, containers, and serverless architectures (Lambdas).
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining high-traffic APIs (handling thousands of requests per second).
  • Skilled in monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking (using tools like Datadog, Grafana).
  • Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Client-facing skills with a proven track record of effectively managing client relationships.
  • Previous involvement in international projects is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
