Financial Operations Manager

The role of a Financial Operations Manager is to oversee the billing process and ensure timely, comprehensive, and precise invoicing. This involves leading a team in delivering exceptional invoicing experiences to valued clients.

A key aspect of this role is supervising, developing, motivating, and mentoring the billing team to ensure productivity, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met. Collaboration with various functions within the organization, including Operations, Accounting, and Accounts Receivables, is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline and oversee the billing process across multiple contract types.
  • Implement and document regional policies and procedures while ensuring adherence to applicable group policies and procedures.
  • Provide hands-on training and collaborate with operations to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Plan and execute quality assurance initiatives for all processes.
  • Ensure team productivity, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Identify problems, propose alternatives, recommend solutions, and implement approved solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent level of knowledge in a relevant field.
  • Mandatory minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive accounts receivable/billing roles, preferably in the staffing industry.
  • Mandatory minimum of 5 years of people management experience, including direct employees and via Leads/Supervisors.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian billing processes (local taxes) is required.
  • Preferred experience with third-party payer guidelines, billing practices, and reimbursement practices.

This role requires strong leadership skills, effective management and mentoring abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory.

The successful candidate will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
