Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to oversee the performance, integrity, security, and availability of our databases.

This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient data storage, maintaining access reliability, and protecting against data loss or unauthorized access. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with infrastructure teams to uphold current standards, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and carry out database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain high-performing database servers.
  • Implement HA scenarios AON and replication for seamless data management.
  • Develop and enforce database security, backup, and recovery standards.
  • Optimize database performance through regular tuning and monitoring.
  • Manage database access, applications, and reports.
  • Troubleshoot database errors and identify root causes of outages.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and recommend implementation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Over three years of experience in database administration, IT, or related field.
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications desirable.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish language skills valuable.
  • Cultural adaptability and willingness to travel.
