International Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage the international movement of oversized and complex cargo, primarily finished trains.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sourcing strategies for Out of Gauge (OOG) transportation aligned with global and regional supply chain goals
  • Lead logistics planning during bid phases, ensuring cost estimation and feasibility of transport solutions
  • Ensure compliance with Brazilian customs regulations, including import/export formalities and documentation
  • Prepare and validate transport specifications for RFPs and negotiate technical and financial proposals
  • Manage transport providers to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery
  • Lead and develop a team of International Logistics Leaders
  • Drive process improvements and share best practices across the organization

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in international transport, logistics, or supply chain management (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, with proven expertise in Out of Gauge transport
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Brazilian customs procedures, including import/export operations and regulatory compliance
  • Strong background in cost control and budget management
  • Strategic thinking and operational execution skills
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
