Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of a strategic medical marketing and advocacy plan, driving engagement and knowledge development among external healthcare professionals.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create customized therapy programs, educate HCPs, and drive advocacy for innovative therapies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive medical marketing and advocacy strategy targeting external HCPs, aligned with business goals and risk-based approach.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to build strong relationships with internal and external speakers, identify key opinion leaders (KOLs), and establish reference centers of excellence.
  • Plan, contract, and execute commercial advocacy activities such as symposia, workshops, and conferences, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Create targeted therapy content for diverse external audiences, collaborating with KOLs on timely and creative promotion using marketing and social media platforms.
  • Establish a global approval matrix for activities, monitoring emerging regulatory trends and ensuring education programs comply with regulations and standards.
  • Lead a small team, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure transparency.
  • Evaluate educational program effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine; advanced qualifications considered a plus.
  • 5-7 years experience with advanced degree in medical marketing, HCP education, or advocacy development within pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Fluent English, additional language skills a plus.
  • Proven track record of building and managing KOL networks and educational initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in medical communications.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally/nationally as needed.
