Job Title: Edge Security Manager

Role Overview:

As an edge security manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational physical security of our data centers. Your expertise in access control systems and processes, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits, and incident reporting will be invaluable to our team.

You will also possess a thorough understanding and maintenance of compliance requirements with international standards such as SOC1, SOC2, and ISO27001. Your ability to implement new processes and adhere to existing policies and procedures related to security guarding, media security, CCTV monitoring, and customer data protection will ensure the highest level of security and safety for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports
  • Analyze situations, make quick decisions, and formulate action plans
  • Create and manage key performance metrics
  • Work with security service providers
  • Train others in security procedures
  • Travel locally and internationally (up to 50%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a high-security environment
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft office tools
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Conflict resolution training
  • Able to perform security risk assessments
  • Able to constantly travel
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • CPP, PSP, PMP certifications preferred
  • Lenel Certifications
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
