The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game engines, UI systems, and performance optimization. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement intuitive interfaces, ensuring seamless user interactions and maximum performance.

About the Role
  • Design and develop high-fidelity UI systems, leveraging knowledge of game engines and UI tools.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, UI artists, and engineers to ensure cohesive visual language and technical implementation.
  • Develop rapid prototypes and layouts to test and refine UI concepts.
  • Implement blueprint logic and assist UI artists in special presentation behavior.
  • Debug blueprints and UMG issues using various tools and techniques.
Requirements
  • 3-6+ years of experience in building UI and experiences in game engines and across multiple platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience shipping updates and new features to a user base on a regular cadence.
  • Professional experience using Photoshop, Figma, and game engines (Custom engine, Unity, UE4, Lumberyard, etc.).
  • An eye for pixel-perfect UI, translating and spotting various potential issues with mockups.
  • A logical problem solver with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to 'translate' technical information across departments.
