Senior Financial Executive

The Chief Accounting Officer will be responsible for ensuring 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation and internal group accounting guidelines. They will ensure that the accounting is correct, transparent, and complete, including appropriate accruals/deferrals.
The Chief Accounting Officer will maintain the fixed asset register and supervise the asset accounting in the fixed asset ledger. They will manage the accounts payables ledger as well as the periodic payment runs while ensuring segregation of duties.
The Chief Accounting Officer will control the accounts receivable ledger and the dunning process. They will also reconcile all tax accounts.
The Chief Accounting Officer will be responsible for the timely compilation of the monthly and annual closings, including the communication of the closing timetable within the organization. They will carry out depreciation runs, post all accrual and deferral entries as well as revaluations, write-offs, and provisions.
The Chief Accounting Officer will prepare the annual statutory financial statements and conduct a thorough review of all monthly reports and financial statements prior to submission to HQ or authorities.
