Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and contribute to the development of an AI-powered analytics platform. As a Senior Data Science expert, you will play a key role in building a robust back-end data pipeline and analytics stack.

Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies to help reduce the carbon footprint of industrial manufacturing. With a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth, this is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about data science and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a range of features and data services, from exploratory prototypes to production-ready implementations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines and analytics solutions.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Design and develop effective dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or adjacent roles.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computational Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven ability to work across unfamiliar data domains and quickly build understanding.
  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing data (energy, process, or climate-related) is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience writing production-quality code.
  • Proven data analysis and statistics foundation—able to recognize what makes a "good" analysis even if the AI is doing the heavy lifting.
  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for data storytelling.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with modern AI/LLM tools and workflows.
  • Prior experience configuring or extending agent-based or automated analytics systems.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data engineering concepts.
