Job Summary

This is a full-time fully remote opportunity where you will be part of a Scrum team that requires working closely with other software engineers, stakeholders, and contributors on the project. Working with respect to the US timezone is required for this position. Attending meetings, being actively involved in decision making processes, and collaborating with stakeholders are essential parts of this role.

Responsibilities

  • We need someone to design and build advanced iOS applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Work with APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and technologies.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development.
  • Proficient in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Experience implementing video player functionality using AVPlayer and AVKit, including handling streaming, offline playback, and custom UI controls.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Combine, CoreData, or Realm.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of mobile performance tools and optimization techniques.
  • Experience in publishing apps to the App Store.
