Responsibilities

As an Account Manager in the Accelerated Sales Program, you will:

  • Participate in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills
  • Prepare and execute account plans
  • Sell White Cap's value proposition and products
  • Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members
  • Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence
  • Competitive nature with a drive to succeed
  • Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics
  • Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities
  • Spanish language proficiency
Compensation

This position's targeted base salary is $60,000 per year, with a starting target of $80,000 per year for variable compensation. Compensation will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data.
