
Regional Semiconductor Marketing Professional

As a Regional Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting Vishay's MOSFET/semiconductor portfolio to new and existing customers in the Americas. You will serve as the technical extension of the division to customers and field sales in the assigned region. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining technical relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned territory/region.
- Creating business plans to meet revenue goals for the territory consistent with Division's objectives.
- Tracking key competitors and their activities, developing competitive analysis reports to help develop opportunities with the division to grow based on market, competitive landscape, and future product needs.
- Participating in negotiations as required and providing feedback to the Division to capture new business and/or maximize profitability.
- Working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Planning, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure customer success while meeting revenue targets and division expectations.
- Developing, formatting, maintaining, and organizing content for sales and customer presentations.
- Serving as first-line contact for customer application and technical related questions for assigned products.
- Assessing competitive environment in the region and developing and executing plans to grow by understanding Vishay's market position, competitors, and product portfolio.
- Being responsible for sales budget in region and creating new design opportunities.
- Understanding customers' applications/products and identifying opportunities for assigned products.
- Targeting promotions to customers' applications and technical requirements.
- Creating go-to-market strategy for the region.
- Working with Division to maintain competitive market pricing.
- Frequent travel to support new business opportunities, trade shows, and technology-focused meetings.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Technical knowledge of Vishay's products, applications, and value propositions.
- Ability to identify and position cross-selling opportunities in the Vishay portfolio while remaining focused on the discrete line of products.
- Business acumen and knowledge of regional business practices.
- Strong listening, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- High self-drive and ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Independence to solve technical problems and effectively multi-task to manage priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in electronic or electrical engineering preferred, computer engineering, material science, industrial engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in semiconductor sales, marketing, or business development experience in related Electronics Industry.
- Able to travel frequently when required.
