Senior Financial Operations Specialist

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team in the financial industry as a Senior Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the overall functionality of our financial operations system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in Murex FO functionalities and modules. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
  • Validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)
  • Liaise with the technical team(s) when needed to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
  • Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along
  • Yield Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
  • Products (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validation
  • Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
  • Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD
  • Equity derivatives knowledge, including portfolio swaps and bond swaps
  • Product implementation experience
  • Strong understanding of the P&L concept and its components
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
