Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting financial operations by performing various tasks related to cashiering, reconciliation, financial aid, and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage cashiering, reconciliation, financial aid transactions, and accounting processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide high-quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external entities.
- Analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and assist in developing efficient processes for the Accounting and Cashiering teams.
- Proficiency with automated financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Expertise in financial reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy in balancing accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, committed to excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and reconciliation best practices.
