Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sao Paulo office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing designs for bulk material handling equipment, marine oil terminals, and pump stations, as well as utilities systems projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare designs for bulk material handling equipment, marine oil terminals, and pump stations, as well as utilities systems projects.
  • Prepare equipment/materials specifications, calculations, data sheets, and drawings reviews for bulk material handling equipment, pumps, tanks, and utilities.
  • Develop design documents (plans and specifications) with an emphasis on utility service design.
  • Generate proposals and develop fee estimates for PS&E packages.
  • Design piping systems, with 3D modeling experience a plus.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering design.
  • Business-level fluency in English; required.
  • Fluency in Spanish; preferred.
  • Experience in design of bulk material handling projects.
  • Acknowledgement in developing equipment specifications, calculations, data sheets, drawings reviews, and other documents related to mechanical design.
  • Experience in piping design.
  • Design experience in marine terminals is a plus.
  • General understanding of process design, process flow diagram development, and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development.
  • Some planning and task management skills.
  • AutoCAD basic experience.
  • Revit experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Travel and/or site visits may be required.
