Job Purpose

As a Logistics Procurement Senior Manager, you will lead innovations, big and small, that will make our business win and grow. Main Responsibilities

  1. Interface with Customer Operations stakeholders to ensure clear business needs, clear communication and alignment on the ways of work.
  2. Co-lead Customer Operations and Procurement Logistics strategy and roadmap.
  3. Define and execute the right sourcing plan, strategy and tactical implementation to leverage the main market opportunities.
  4. Manage and develop a high-performance team, generating a healthy work environment, focusing on D&I, deliverables and business sustainability.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Experiences & Qualifications

  1. Develop and implement Logistic strategy, aligned with local needs and in close cooperation with the global procurement team.
  2. Analyze and develop deep understanding of the supply markets, including external economic factors which influence those markets.
  3. Identify and build partnership with key suppliers and guarantee Supplier compliance (audits, specifications, general terms and conditions).
  4. Perform cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, to optimize the end-to-end value chain.
  5. Develop contingency plans and alternatives to ensure supply security.
  6. Monitor overall performance of the supply network and ensure continuous improvement.
  7. Deliver bottom line savings by working together with Suppliers, Operations Team and Transportation to identify and implement cost-saving programs.
  8. Provide the business with accurate Transportation price forecasting, which includes market conditions understanding, price trends and future markets trends to enable proper budgeting and price forecasting.
  9. Contract management.
  10. Drive and Implement the Sustainability agenda (e.g: GNV/electric vehicles).
  11. Drive and Implement Innovation and Digital agenda (e.g: e-tender, new technologies & capabilities like should cost analysis).

Skills

  1. Higher professional education / university degree.
  2. Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain is important.
  3. Proven Experience in Procurement Logistics.
  4. Supply Chain experience (Planning and Logistics Operations).
  5. High degree of interpersonal, negotiation, influencing skills.
  6. Advanced English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Expert knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
  8. Excellent analytical skills with ability to extract, organize, analyze significant amount of data.
  9. Team management.
  10. Attention to detail and aptitude to solve complex problems.
  11. Enjoy working in a virtual and multicultural working environment.
