Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, testing, and debugging of internal design tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to users via direct contact or hotline services to resolve issues promptly.
- Collect feedback from the design engineering community to enhance tool efficiency.
- Support standardization initiatives by developing and implementing technical standards and guidelines.
- Contribute to training programs through manuals, courses, workshops, and pilots to improve skill sets.
- Research and define analytical models for structural calculations to ensure accuracy.
- Verify and validate tools used throughout all stages of the design-to-manufacturing process to guarantee quality.
- Provide technical support to design engineers across global units to facilitate collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines to maintain regulatory adherence.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) is required for this position.
- Experience with PTC Creo Parametric is essential for success in this role.
- Knowledge of programming languages is desirable, with additional languages being a plus.
- Familiarity with structural simulation tools (FEM) is advantageous.
- Advanced English language skills are necessary, with other languages being considered a plus.
- Experience working in multicultural and remote environments is valuable.
- Availability for occasional travel is required.
- Experience in the design and manufacturing of power transformers is considered an asset.
