Overview:
The Bridge Inspection Program Lead plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our bridge inspection program. This position involves strategic planning, staff training, quality control, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the bridge inspection program for the designated area, managing staff and select projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
- Develop Quality Assurance requirements and procedures to maintain program excellence.
- Conduct thorough Quality Control reviews for bridge inspection submissions to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Identify business opportunities and spearhead marketing efforts for proposals to drive growth.
- Direct bridge inspection teams, develop comprehensive inspection reports, and perform critical structural calculations to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during downtime and travel extensively for field inspections of infrastructure structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge/structural inspection and design is essential.
- Proven project management skills and demonstrated leadership abilities are crucial for success in this role.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills are necessary for effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
